About Buster’s Pod
Buster is our much-loved sheepdog that has been with us as a puppy since 2013. As a family, we went to Bala sheep dog sales, unfortunately (or fortunately), we were late, and all the sales had finished so as we walked back to our car with 2 upset boys who ‘really wanted a puppy’ we met a man with 2 puppies in his hatchback – a girl and boy. We paid £50 (best money ever spent) for the boy who became our Buster! He is a fantastic sheepdog who is playful, loyal, talented and adored by anyone who meets him!
Buster’s den is ideal for 2 adults, tastefully decorated complete with all the practical things you need for the perfect self-catering stay.
Outside you can enjoy an unforgettable experience with our Scandinavian spruce wood fired hot tub. This unique spa system has its origins from the Japanese and has long been associated with the deep relaxation and healing powers you get from a deep soaking bath – just sit back and enjoy the stunning stunning views across the Clwydian mountain range with a few playful cows or sheep to entertain you!

We have equipped Buster’s Den to ensure you get the most out of your stay with us. The following is included for 2 adults.
Stylish & Fully equipped
We’ve tried to think of everything to make your luxury stay super special. The non-smoking glamping pod is fully self-contained, double glazed with underfloor heating and en-suite with shower complete with luxurious toiletries.
The beautifully handmade kitchenette provides you with everything you need for a self-catering stay. Finished with stunning granite worktop, gas hob, stainless steel Belfast sink and integrated fridge and microwave. A modern table and chairs for you to enjoy your meals or to play games complete with Bluetooth speaker and USB points to keep you fully charged.
Having a great night’s sleep is so important so we hope our memory foam mattress with Egyptian cotton bedding, luxury quilt and pillows does the trick. The gas-lift bed is the perfect storage answer for all your belongings.
You can relax and watch TV on the 3 seater velvet sofa finished with comfy pillows and colourful throw.
Enjoy The Stunning Views
Nothing lifts the spirits in the morning more than the bird’s dawn chorus and you will not be disappointed. The glamping pods are positioned to make the most of the stunning views across the Clwydian mountain ranges.
The decked porch leads to your own Welsh slate patio area also complete with bistro table and chairs so you can enjoy your morning cuppa as the sun rises. Our mischievous cows and sheep will no doubt come and say hello with Buster, Jess or Abbey, our sheep dogs, popping along to see how you are.
In the evening, you can enjoy roasting marshmallows on the fire pit or enjoy your BBQ whilst watching the mountains change their colours whilst the sun goes down.

Why People Love Staying at Abbey Farm
all about the family
Our campsite is family and dog-friendly. There are lots to see all season round on this working farm, with lambing in early spring and cows grazing in the summer with a couple of curious Alpacas always ready for some attention.
Back to Nature
The farm is situated on a small country lane with only the sound of birdsong, moo or baa and the occasional hoot of an owl. A great place to rediscover your sense of well-being amongst the peaceful and relaxing surroundings.
Hobbyists Delight
Whether you enjoy history, fishing, cycling or walking, there is something for all.
Come and explore the artefacts from the Dominican Friary, plenty of public footpaths and cycleways with a nature reserve close by.
Locally sourced
You can enjoy eggs laid by our very own free-range happy chickens and there are plenty of locally sourced suppliers of food for your BBQ or breakfast.
Pubs & Places To Eat
Rhuddlan has a great tourist offering. You can enjoy a range of cafes, pubs and places to eat that cater for all the family within an 8-minute walk.
In Easy Reach
Whether you want to get here by car, train or bus, Rhuddlan is within easy reach of the A55. Rhyl station is 10 minutes drive away and we have a local bus service running regularly.
