Places to Visit from Abbey Farm
The village is just a short stroll away from Abbey Farm and has lots of places to eat, drink and visit. Rhuddlan Castle, built in the thirteenth century is well worth a visit. Bodrhyddan Hall, a stunning 17th century stately home is the perfect place for afternoon tea!

Rhuddlan Castle
Towering above the River Clwyd, built in 1277 by King Edward I. Rhuddlan Castle was erected as part of the English Conquest of Wales. A remarkable feat of engineering. You will enjoy seeing the amazing architecture that features a distinctive concentric design popular in late medieval forts.
Also, you’ll get to see the successive rings of turreted walls that would have provided the perfect defence against any potential attackers.

Dyserth Waterfall
Just a 5 minute drive away from us into the ancient village of Dyserth is this lovely
waterfall which lies on the slopes of the Clwydian range. You will also find some
hidden caves on your woodland walk up the small mountain which is worth the climb
as you are treated to lovely views across North Wales. A quaint cafe and garden to
enjoy on your return.

Bodrhyddan Hall
Bodrhyddan Hall is a beautiful Grade I 17th-century.
Bodrhyddan Hall is a beautiful Grade I 17th-century stately home and has been the home of Lord Langford and his family for over 500 years. Set in several acres of stunning gardens and woodlands, it is one of the few remaining stately homes in Wales. The Hall offers events during the year with guided tours to view the fine art, classical furniture and impressive collection of armour which wouldn’t be complete without an afternoon tea.

The walled town of Conwy is one of the most impressive fortresses you will see in Wales. Visit the smallest house in Great Britain or experience boat rides that will take you around the Quay to experience the full beauty of Conwy Castle.
